User-Manual for MSPdata+


Version 1.02 (17-May-2018)




Enter you post code in the box and either click on the OK button or hit the return key, after a short period of time some information will come about the 8 MSPs for that postcode.

The information about each MSP is:
  • Their name
  • Constituency
  • Party
  • When they entered the Scottish Parliament
For each MSP are two action buttons one is called More Info which when pressed launches a web browser to the TheyWorkForYou web site, where the data comes from. The other button is called Debates and opens up a new window with the last four debates for that MSP.

There is also two other buttons Called Contact Elected Rep which allows you to contact various elected officals, another called Report a Street Prob which allows you to report a problem in your street, e.g street light not working, broken pavements etc.

This application requires a working internet connection, a web browser and wget to work. 		License and Distribution conditions
