Medieval

Sunday, August 24th, 2008

Earlier on today I tried a few very nice pints of Northumberland’s MedievAle and most enjoyable it was as well.

The beer is a light coloured English ale that goes down extremely well and I will look forward to trying some more of this fine ale.

Bombs Away

Monday, August 18th, 2008

The other day I tried a few pints of Thwaites Lancaster Bomber ale and very fine it is indeed.

It has the classic English real ale colour, with a very moreish flavour and I would definitely try it again.

The beer has been judged the best ale in England according to judges at the European Beer Star 2007.

Banana Bread Beer

Sunday, August 3rd, 2008

Yesterday drinking at a friend’s house I tried a couple of bottles of Banana Bread Beer by Wells and Young brewery and very tasty it was I can tell you.

A refreshing beer with a very strong taste of bananas and it brought back memories as when I was a kid I loved banana bread which this beer tasted very much of.
